Mr. Carpio has strong litigation experience in the areas of labor, civil, criminal and corporate law, where he has a proven track record in winning cases and/or reducing legal expenses. He also practices corporate law including review and drafting of commercial and business contracts.

Mr. Carpio is a Partner since 2004 in the CRUZ NERIA & CARPIO LAW OFFICES. Before that, he served as Head Legal Counsel of the HARIBON FOUNDATION, where he was tasked with organizing environmental conservation projects, assessing environmental issues, providing adequate solutions to those issues, and preparing project studies and summaries of projects undertaken by the Foundation. He was also a Court Attorney in the SANDIGANBAYAN from 2003 – 2004 where he drafted numerous Resolutions, Orders and Decisions, and conducted legal research for the Court’s Third Division. He was also a Professor of Law at the UNIVERSITY OF MAKATI, where he taught Building Code, Fire Code, Condominium Act, other property laws.

Mr. Carpio is an alumnus of the University of the Philippines (A.B. Humanities) and the Lyceum of the Philippines (Law). He is actively involved in various civic organizations where he has served in various capacities.
